Veneers
What is a veneer?
A veneer is a thin layer of strong tooth like material that is placed over a tooth, to change the colour, shape and appearance of front teeth. Veneers are also used to close gap in between your front teeth. Veneers are often an effective way to improve a smile by creating a natural smile line.
What material are veneers made from?
There are two main types of material used: composite and dental porcelain. A composite veneer may be directly placed (built-up in the mouth). Porcelain veneers are indirectly designed and crafted in a dental laboratory. They are then bonded to a tooth with permanent cement. Our dentists will always discuss and inform each patient in relation to an appropriate cosmetic changes.
